Step ONE: The home page

Stones are classified on the basis of shape (Round, Fancy, Rectangular), price ($0 to $499, $500 to $1499, $ 1500 to $2999, $3000 to $4999 and $5000 onwards). Color: Color is classified under the grades D-F, G-I, J-L and other colors.

Cut: This lists diamonds of Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor cut.

Carat: One can choose different ranges in diamond carats also. With Gemisimo carat weight is classified as 0.01ct to 0.49ct, 0.50ct to 0.99ct, 1ct to 1.99ct, 2ct to 2.99ct, 3ct to 7.99 ct and 8ct onwards.

Certificate: If you are specific that the stone you select is graded from a specific laboratory only, then this can be the entry point of your search. Gemisimo provides diamonds from different laboratories like GIA, AGS, IGI, HRD, EGL and many other laboratories like Gubelin Gemlab, CGAL etc.

Step 2: Beginning your search

Start from lest to right and choose a specific criteria of diamonds based on the above parameters, viz. price range, a list of diamonds is again displayed before you. This list gives further details on diamonds available within the selected criteria. For example, if you choose diamonds between the $0 to $500 criteria, prices are further classified as $0 to $199, $200 to $299, $300 to $399 and so on. Besides this, the display chart detailing vendors, also changes to display relevant results. Bracket next to the price label also indicate the number of pieces available.

 

 

Step 3: Pinpointing the diamond
